Paintings are fragile, complex works of fine art composed of sensitive materials which undergo physical and chemical changes from the moment of their creation.  Each painting (of historic, cultural or personal value) forms a tangible link to our past and its preservation is imperative for the future generations.

Klara Zold has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada and a Master’s degree in Art Conservation (paintings) from Queen's University, Kingston, Canada.  She has performed extensive and diverse work within the conservation industry and has many years of experience and advanced treatment skills in the field.  Please see concise version of her Résumé.
